Improving would be with the staff. Late check out requested after the first knock on my door. I verified the staff would be told so I had extra time. Unfortunately, staff NOT told which lead to 2 additional very LOUD, “get out of here NOW style knocks.” Complained to staff about the rudeness of this only to be disregarded and charged a ridiculous fee for late check out. Cute place on the smaller side. But rudeness, after you pay extra, is not acceptable.

Perfect spot for a downtown Detroit stay. Walkable to most bars and restaurants even though the wine bar, Chenin, and cocktail bar, Candy Bar, located inside were among our favorites of the stay. Rooms were clean and the hotel itself has a beautiful aesthetic.
