Our room smelled strongly of smoke we definitely did not request a smoking room. It was also extremely loud, and we barely got any sleep during our stay. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and we would not stay at the Godfrey Hotel again.

HOTELS DOT COM could have warned me.

This is less of a review of the venue than it is of HOTELS.COM. I booked this hotel as a placeholder and forgot about it. I am a furloughed federal employee and ended up canceling my weekend plans. I never received a reminder email from HOTELS or anything. The weekend came and went. It was an expensive lesson I learned. There is no reason to use this portal instead of going directly to the hotel. There are zero perks to using it, especially in resolving a dispute.
