Friends Trip

We had a wonderful weekend trip to Denver. We enjoyed the comfort and location of the home. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and bars, and there’s a Safeway close by. The house has on-site parking, easy access to the train, the kitchen and bathroom offer great amenities and the house is spotless.

We enjoyed our historical home stay.

We enjoyed our stay in 5 Points and really liked the close proximity of the home to the RINO area. There is a guaranteed parking spot which was key to being able to park in the area. The home was clean, but much older than it appears in the listing pictures. If you aren’t able to navigate steep stairs, consider a stay elsewhere. The description on VRBO, indicates the king & queen size beds feature memory foam pillow top mattresses. Neither mattress was memory foam, however, we slept just fine. Portable A/C units in each bedroom & the living room made the home comfortable, even in August. The kitchen was well appointed and we really appreciated the bathroom toiletries, and the laundry & kitchen supplies provided through Vacation Rental Collective. It was a nice touch!

Meaningful stay

The accomodations were in an excellent location for walking, restaurants and our family gathering. The beds were comfortable, the historical bits were informative and beautiful. Sitting outside for coffee and breakfast were our favorite moments. Lovely stay.

We would absolutely stay here again

This place was amazing!! It had everything we were looking for and everything we needed for a long weekend. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessities and the home is centrally located. The view from the front window of the downtown skyline was amazing too!

Comfy place, great location!

We loved our stay at this property. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with the museum to which this house belongs. We received a private tour from our host, and enjoyed hearing the history of the area and the specific stories of the people represented at the small museum. The location was perfect to get to all of the activities of downtown Denver and the surrounding towns. Our family of five (three generations) was comfortable with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house was immaculate and had good starter paper products and supplies. One suggestion would be to add a dresser to the queen bedroom, but otherwise, all was provided. A great convenience was the off-street parking for the rental property. Thanks for a great stay!

City getaway

The area was where we wanted to be. Close to where family is living. There was construction happening but, that was made known in the write up. We were gone most days so didn’t matter. Place was clean and had everything we needed. More towels would have been nice but there’s a washer/dryer. Beds weren’t the most comfortable but we had plenty of space for all 5 of us. The outside patio was not cleaned up enough for us so we did not use it. Would be a nice spot to sit and hang out if cleaned up. Volunteers working on the museum property were very friendly and doing a nice job getting things fixed up.
