Not as expected

Check in was easy. There was dog waste still left in the backyard that we had to pick up. Had a horrible smell inside. The water to the shower was backwards. I went into the kitchen at midnight to get a drink and when I turned the light on a mouse was on the stove. He crawled up into the vent of the stove. Thankfully that was our last night there. We will not be staying there ever again.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Cozy Cottage. The location is great and close to many activities in Colorado Springs. The house itself is well-stocked and the owners are very welcoming and responsive. The only drawback is that we experienced a strong musty smell upon arriving that was unexpected and partially detracted from the overall charm of the place.

The Cozy Cottage was perfect for our long weekend in the Springs! Checking in and out was a breeze, the owners provided plenty of information on the property so there were no surprises when we arrived. The house was recently renovated and extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, grilling, and baking. We really enjoyed the location, only a few minutes from downtown, and about 15 minutes from Manitou Springs. The neighborhood was very quiet with lots of mature trees. Our pup loved the little backyard and it was a peaceful place for us humans to relax too. We would definitely book this location again!

Great Retreat

This is a small cottage perfect for a couple or small family. Great location for restaurants and activities. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is equipped better than most if you want to cook meals. This property also worked well for our dogs. The hosts are very responsive. We had a wonderful stay.

We could not have been happier with our stay. The beds were so comfortable and warm ! The house was very pretty and so clean. Our hosts were so responsive and kind. We will be staying here the next time we go to Colorado Springs. Loved it !!

Great Location

This property is a great property for large and small groups. We enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood. Very easy to see the sites very close to us--Garden of the Gods, The Broadmore, even Manitou Springs was just a few miles away. Comfortable place with great amenities.

Mini vacay

The cozy cottage was as described on the website. The area was quiet and close to restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions. Check in and out were a breeze. However, the cottage had a terrible odor so much that we had to leave the doors open for fresh air and lit candles during the day. The street was also very dark in the evening, so better lighting or a sign for the address would have been helpful.Would recommend to others to stay due to location and amenities, but definitely bring air fresheners.

Cozy and quiet setting. All amenities one would need and immaculate inside. Owner quick to respond when needed, Very centrally located and close to wonderful restraints and all sites. Overall, adorable setting! Could not have asked for a better place and would definately stay there again!

Great place. Had everything we needed.

Property: 5 Great location, great furnishings, 2 TV's, bathroom with tub, very well appointed kitchen, OK yard, great AC, comfortable bed in Master, very good w/d. Kitchen window didn't lock, but would with some tweaking, no view to speak of, tough time pulling my pickup truck in and out of the lot, AC return directly over the head of the bed. Would stay there, again.

Great location, perfect for pets, quiet & private

Had a wonderful stay! Hosts very friendly & responsive, home very well stocked & private yard great for our dog. It was nice to enjoy coffee & wine at the table outside and it’s a peaceful place to read. Having coffee pot filled and ready to go such a nice surprise. Highly recommend!

Well located and comfortable

We appreciated the full kitchen and grill. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and ready. The only minor thing we could have used is some Kleenex but it was a non-tissue. We did find the front storm door was broken and would not close properly but the main door is just fine. We enjoyed the brochures and guidebooks left to peruse. It was great to have a coffee maker. We picked up our own k cups but there were some in the fridge available, along with creamer and flavors. Glad to have laundry facilities too! My only suggestions would be to trim the foliage as you have to duck under it going in and out, and maybe have a few board games available, but we loved our stay and appreciated the accommodations. We slept well and were very comfortable.

Cozy and Perfect

As soon as we pulled into the driveway the owner pulled up and greeted us. She was very sweet and welcoming. The home was a perfect fit for a couple and even a little more space than needed. Kitchen was fully stocked. The leftover hygiene products was also helpful for us! The location was really nice and private to the busy street. Overall, we loved the property and staying here for our vacation.
