The staff were great, the room and services offered were excellent. The only area for improvement is the drinking-water process, other than the bathroom basin there is no drinking water supply. You have to go out to the elevators on your floor to refill water yourself, or call room service and pay $12 per litre (reference: room service menu). The round trip from our room—located at the far end of the building—to the dispenser took nearly five minutes, and the jugs provided only held one litre.

Room was clean, organized. Closest to the airport and there are buses going downtown/the city which you can use your tap credit/debit card if you don't have the metro card (i think $3/ride) The whole hotel is clean and organized. Nice amenities. Helpful staffs and they have a luggage weighing scale which so helpful.

Novotel is at the top of its game. Friendly, welcoming staff, great architecture, well appointed rooms, and a great rooftop bar/restaurant overlooking the runway. It’s immediately adjacent to the airport which was perfect after a 12 hr international flight.

Clean, well kept room as you’d expect from a ‘exec’ style hotel. Convenient for Ubers and taxis, Spitfire restaurant area is a bit of a walk but fine for distance. Could do with a bigger movie selection on the tv. Nice to have breakfast overlooking the airport

The hotels location is perfect, being only a minute or two walk from the international terminal, so it’s ideal before or after a long flight (or two in our case). The number 29 bus also departs from outside the hotel and takes about 20 minutes to get into the city, costing just $3 using contactless (paywave). The hotel itself is modern, though we did find the surfaces in the room a bit dusty. Considering the distance to the airport, the external soundproofing was incredible, you could hardly hear anything. Unfortunately, the same effort wasn’t made with internal soundproofing and we often heard other room doors closing. The hotel offers a range of waters from a machine on each floor next to the lift (still, sparkling, slightly sparkling etc) and you’re given a jug in the room so this was a nice touch to help you stay hydrated before/after travelling. The breakfast was ok, there was a decent range of cooked buffet food and you can order your eggs to be cooked your way. However the continental cereal options were lacking, there was only a VERY coconutty muesli (I like coconut but this was too much) and a GF Weetabix, some different granolas and cereals would have been nice. You can order barista coffee at a cost but the filter coffee included done the job for us. I booked this hotel for our return flight, having stayed in the city on our first night we actually realised staying at this hotel would remove a massive about of stress the morning of our flight.

Reception very attentive staff, friendly and helpful. Restaurant for dinner was very busy and a bit more service training could be done. Waiting staff should be allocated tables to look after from ordering to finish, saves orders going missing but overall food and wine were good. Walking distance to airport so much better than catching a shuttle.
