Great little house!
This little house was great for a few days on Chincoteague. It is centrally located, but in a quiet neighborhood away from the main drag. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and appliances. They have a drip coffee machine and a Keurig. The rooms had plenty of space and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean. The living room was incredibly comfortable - perfect for spending your evenings reading (or watching TV if that's your thing). There were board games and puzzles. We especially loved the screened in porch! It was so nice to drink our coffee out there in the mornings, or to hang out in the evenings, away from any mosquitoes and insects. They have a propane grill out back and Adirondack chairs in the yard. If you plan on preparing any food during your stay, be prepared to bring everything you will need - even salt and pepper. We stopped at the Food Lion a few towns over. Also be prepared to bring your own beach items: towels, chairs, toys, etc. If you've never been, Chincoteague is a darling island with lots of cute restaurants, a few shops, and plenty to do. During the summer there are a lot of mosquitoes - definitely bring bug spray and cover up if you're planning on hiking on Assateague. Be sure to check out the library while you're in town - it is quite possibly the most adorable library we've visited!Thank you so much for hosting our family - we had a wonderful stay!
