"Property is only accessible by helicopter. The road is not safe to travel on. I have a lifted 2024 4X4 Tundra and could not safely get to the house. Trying to back out once you make the turn is the most dangerous thing I've done in a long time. No phone service if stuck and you are miles from anything. Highlights of the property are "easy to get around" This property is where you hide when running from the law. Nowhere near Shenandoah either. We hope the guest will be truthful to the next guest. I could not imagine if it were raining or snowing. "

"It was better than my expectations! The cabin is cozy yet roomy. All modern amenities. It's literally on the side of a mountain with a babbling brook so close you can hear it from the deck. The kiddos climbed down the creek and onto the many huge boulders that lie about. The treehouse is a blast! And the privacy... No one nearby. This place is fantastic! Truly!"

"Not worth the money. Washing machine didn’t work, fire place didn’t work, not clean at all, toooo small!!! DO NOT WASTE your money!!"

"We had a nice stay here. The space overall was comfortable, and we would stay again. The host was super fast to respond to questions. The beds were decently comfortable, the furniture was in good condition, and the view was AMAZING. The space was good for kids. I was worried about the roads, and while the driveway was steep and we didn't chance it, there was a small lot right above the house that was fine for parking. A couple of small changes would have added an extra star: the cookware was very scratched/cheap nonstick, which I don't like cooking for kids in. The cupboards were pretty dirty inside with spilled food and dust and had old open food boxes that were spoiled. I had to clean it myself before putting our food away. The main living area gets super sunny in the evening (beautiful sunsets!) but it's really intense - some blinds or curtains on the rest of the windows would help a lot. These were all little things though, and like I said, we had a nice time and would stay again. "

"We had a great stay for our anniversary. The location was secluded, but managable to get to town or to Luray. The hot tub room was a great addition with a great set up- it was perfect to enjoy in the evenings. "

"Old wood paneling, electric range old and not very clean, panel in bedroom all buckled, flies everywhere, pictures of place a little deceiving and small. Place was hard to find and very secluded but the view was beautiful. 500 for 2 night stay and only one full day there was overpriced. "
