The Northern Hotel has been a landmark and icon in Billings dating back to my childhood in the 1950s. It has been well maintained and continues to be the premier place to stay in Billings. Staff is very friendly; liked the free self parking.

The stay was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. This is a great property to stay if you are on a holiday or a staycation. Also we have lot of places to explore pretty close to the place which also makes it exciting. The parking is not hard with the property as they provide you space in the public parking lot and it makes it comfortable for visitors. If visiting Billings again, would stay here again

Very pleasant staff. Rooms great. Bathrooms a little small but is an older hotel. Two queen bedrooms are about double the size of singe king bedroom.

Northern Hotel is a Gem!

Excellent as always. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Even swapped us from a low floor to a high floor without hesitation. This was our fourth year in a row going to this hotel and it’s amazing every time. The property is well kept and clean. Rooms are always comfortable!

Too expensive for the money

Valet service and bell desk were very good. Front desk was very good. The room, 305, had no view. Rooftop of second floor, level with the parking garage, and the only view was your competitor, the Doubletree. I was going to ask for a $100 per reduction, as I thought that was more in line with the Avid property that I used in Thursday night. The noise was unbearable, and sounded the the main furnace fired up for the evening
