This is a beautiful, clean Victorian building and town. Very quiet. Justin met us when we got there and also lives on the property so he is around if you need anything. Plus he is just very pleasant to talk with. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. Great location for us to get to where we needed to go. We checked out the area and rode our bicycles on the Columbia Trail. We plan on visiting sometime in the future.

Charming

The hotel is beautiful and being greeted by one’s first name on arrival was refreshing. The breakfast is serve-yourself, and there is something for everyone’s tastes. The bed was hard. Some enjoy a hard bed, but too hard for me. This hotel has a lot of stairs and no elevator, so it is not for those with mobility issues. The soap, shampoo, lotion was premium snd ample. Parking is easy and plentiful.

The hotel messaged me in the morning of our arrival -asking for estimated time. The text included information for parking, where in the area to eat, things of interest. on arrival we were show our room , with instructions on TV use, time that breakfast started, instructions of how to reach owner in case of an emergency after front desk closed, WIFI password. Beds were comfortable, everything was spotless & the stay was wonderful. through no fault of the establishment, the fire alarm for the building went off at 6:40 am & the establishment was quickly evacuated. It was a false alarm & we were able to have a nice breakfast before we left.

Enjoyable and affordable

Pleasant stay in an old but updated building. No freshly baked goods but a lot of options, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc., for breakfast. Within driving distance to wineries, and points of interest like the SteelStacks and the Kreidersville Covered Bridge. There's no elevator, but staff will help you with luggage.

Found this after looking to spend a day at the Land of Make Believe. Hotel was very nicely maintained, very solid breakfast selection for not having a kitchen. Would recommend to anyone who is staying in the area. Found a few cute shops in the town as well.

Beautiful historic hotel with small town friendly service. Enjoyed nice conversation with guests in quaint breakfast area with abundant variety of continental breakfast offerings and amazing pastries with lovely view of covered front porch. Very comfortable rooms with mini frig were clean with everything we needed. Waters Edge restaurant nearby serving excellent food and lovely serene view of water. Stayed during Delaware Sojourner kayak trip.

Beautiful old building with alot of character. Our room, especially the bed was very comfortable. Since its a old building there is no elevator so if thats a problem take note. Everything we needed was there, even a mini fridge. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Old world hotel with updated amenities. Loved it!

The hotel was very nice! We had a private room with a lovely view of the corner to see a parade that went through the town. The building has the vintage feel with updated amenities. Would stay again!
