They canceled our reservation and gave our room away. No notice whatsoever. We arrived at 12:30 am after a very long day, only to be told that our reservation was canceled, and that they had no rooms available. My daughter and I were left out in the cold with nowhere to go in the middle of the night., no explanation. Disgusting!

Worst Hotel I've Ever Been To

We walked into the hotel to sign in, which they did not us computers. The elevator had a horrible smell to it. Our door did not shut all the way and we were able to break into our own room without using a key. I checked inside the door for the lock that we could use, which was already removed from the door. We observed cob webs in the corners of the walls and a large red stain on the carpet. There was ticking sound in our room. When we walked into the bathroom, we immediately were disgusted. There was a crack in the toilet seat with mold coming out of it. Since we did not feel safe with a room that you could easily break into, we went downstairs to speak with the clerk. He said he'd have someone look at it or we could go into a smoking room. We advised that we did not wish to stay there under those conditions and he stated he would give our money back.

There was a smell in the elevator and hall. Room was OK.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We booked this hotel for 4 nights. We called on the first night to tell them we would not make it there until the following morning, that we knew we would have to pay for the whole night, but that we wanted our room reserved for us to arrive early the next day. When we arrived, we were able to check into the room right away. We asked for more coffee, and they readily gave us a few packages. I have had trouble with other hotels before getting more coffee, so I was very pleased with their willingness to give us more. The room was OK. It was clean, but old. The shower curtain rod almost fell off. While using the sink, the light fixture cover fell down into the sink. Still, I think the room was OK for the price paid. Our main complaint was that the elevator and hall smelled like something was dead and rotting. It did not extend into our room, but we had to hold our noses in the elevator. We did not eat at the breakfast bar, so I can't rate that. I think after the smell in the elevator we didn't feel like eating there. The hotel was very convenient to where we were going, and I would likely stay there again. I just recommend that they address the smell.
