Clean and comfortable room. Better breakfast than some 2-3 star hotels. Great location for hiking nearby, adorable bookstore across the street.

When we checkin, the lady was very helpful and kind.The hotel had the old time charm and was nicely restored. The hotel is three stories with a beautiful banister to guide you to your room. The room was very nice. I especially liked the exposed brick in the room. The shower was spacious, modern, and clean. Breakfast was served from 7am to 10am. We had a variety of pastries to choose from, different breads and croisannts, bananas and apples were available also. There were also 4 different kinds of cereal to choose from. The breakfast room was very clean and well stocked with milk, ceam cheeses and butter. We also had coffee and orange juice.

It took sometime to register because no one is in the office. We had to call a number and wait about 10 minutes. We had no towels in our room and had to call twice to get some, once before we went to dinner and once after. There is no thermostat in the rooms, so the room was rather warm.

It was a very conveniently located in this small western nj town. Very charming beautiful old hotel that has totally clean and refurbished rooms that are spacious and comfortable.

The room was very clean, safe parking, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast consisted of bagels breads yogurt fruits hard boiled eggs different cereals, coffee , juices , different types of milks, danishes , donuts and assorted muffins . No hot meal but we loved our stay. There are plenty of diners for breakfast!

Loved staying at this property. Jennifer, the manager was delightful and extremely helpful. Loved her tour. Two extremely cute shops within walking distance lost and its sister store found. Beautiful building! Staff was super friendly and helpful. I love that we were walked to our room and given a short tour of the amenities after checking in. Old style hotel with modern amenities surrounded by historic buildings and unique shops.
