The property was clean and staff were friendly. It is very frustrating that you can only come in the front door of the hotel. There are side doors that have signs stating you can use your card to enter, however you can't. You can only exit those doors. This makes for a much longer walk to and from your vehicle. Supposedly it's for safety reasons, but that's the point of having a key. The breakfast was lacking.

Okay, this time.

The Front Desk Attendant at Check-in was very professional and attentive...however, the lobby's AC was out and it was not welcoming at all. We suspected the morning breakfast area would be uncomfortable. It goes further...there was no orange juice, just apple. There was milk, but for cereal. We didn't want to use it as kids were getting cold cereal. The coffee service was not pleasant. We had a nice room, it was just the lobby and breakfast was not pleasant. We got the information for across the street for our next visit. This was our first stay in this LaQuinta, we sadly can't reccommend it until it is tweaked.

I stayed here because they accepted dogs. However, the facility was very dated. Rooms were dark and didn't feel clean. Could see drink rings on counter so I knew they were never wiped clean. Floors were sticky so I had to always wear shoes. AC wasn't working. Had to call maintenance. Got it to run but only at one temp. Light in bathroom went out. No bathroom fan. Tissue box was empty so had to use toilet paper for my allergies. Could hear flushing toilets and running water from other rooms, their TVs, yelling, doors slamming, people in the hallways. It was so loud. My dog was very stressed. The side security doors were propped open by smokers standing outside because key cards didn't work on exterior doors. Front desk was unable to help with any of these issues. If I didn't have my dogs with me I wouldn't have felt secure. The breakfast included was very limited and didn't seen fresh. Waffle station was never wiped down. Batter was so lumpy. Syrup had a line of people because. it was so slow to dispense Breads and muffins were so dry. No fruit except for the tiniest apples I've ever seen. Offered scrambled eggs on one day, but they were runny and gross. I was unable to bring myself to eat any of the breakfast during my stay. Poor start to my day. I will not be returning to this location.
