We arrived to the hotel and there were police everywhere with lights on and the streets were blocked off by police. There is a bar across the street and it was so loud all night. Our room was old and really run down. Rust on everything- all the light fixtures and anything metal in the room. Breakfast was lacking. All hot things were cold and nothing restocked. I read the reviews and they had good ones so not sure how that happened. La Quintas are usually very nice and clean but not this one. Bad location for sure and needs updating and cleaning.

It was very noisy. It’s a bad area. There was police activity all over. We couldn’t get into the hotel because the police had it blocked off the bar across the street was noisy all night long hotel gas were fighting in the parking lot and in the hallways. The hotel is very rundown. There was rust on all of our light fixtures missing molding around the room. Our pillows were really old. It needs a facelift.

Overall stay was nice for what we needed. Expected a little noise being close to airport. However, there is a bar with loud music directly across from the hotel. It would have been nice to know this.

Waited for airport shuttle ( after numerous calls to a call centre …can’t get through to hotel direct so ended up paying for a taxi . 1st impressions not great / check in quite abrupt 1st Room awful / corridor smelt / bathroom tiny / all needs updating Moved rooms ( corridor not quite as smelly / room looked cleaner / shower still not great Overall needs complete modernising in the rooms & thorough cleaning of carpets / bathroom Not that we were going to use pool but had a look clearly not functional Gym small but clean & useable

I stayed at this hotel in Atlanta a couple of days ago while I was in town for an interview. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. When I first checked into my room, I found a towel with a suspicious stain and hair in the bathroom. Then, when I went to iron my shirt, I realized the iron was cracked and leaking. When I tried to use it anyway, it ended up staining my white shirt. I went down to the lobby, and the lady at the front desk was very helpful — she immediately gave me a replacement iron, which I appreciated. However, a few hours later, while I was on the phone, I saw a small black thing with a tail running toward my feet. I reflex jumped. It moved too fast to be a scorpion, so I believe it was a baby rat. It ran under the nightstand, and since it was already late and I had to wake up early the next morning, I went downstairs again and told the front desk. The same lady was once again very kind and moved me to another room, but I could barely sleep that night from how shocked I was, and it affected my interview the next day. I’ve never experienced anything like that before. To top it off, they charge a $100 deposit, which feels way too high for a hotel of this level. The staff was nice and helpful, but the cleanliness and maintenance were major issues.
