We enjoyed our short stay in Atlanta, and this property was a key part of our experience. The location is great for Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, Children's Museum of Atlanta, Coca Cola and lots of good restaurants. Some properties are closer, but the walk is not bad at all.The property has a great balcony view - sunrise view and (reflected in the building in front of it) sunset to some extent. All basic necessities are provided to include some nice little kid touches like plastic plates and cups, a pack 'n play, etc. We appreciated the sparse modern decoration style (kid friendly! - we had a 3 and 5 year old). This is a budget option, and as a result, you should not expect a spotless newly renovated space. The property clearly shows its age. The bathroom is small (pro tip: bring a hanging toiletry case with a hook as there's no counter space.) As a result, you get a nice cheap place to stay in the thick of a lot of downtown attractions. The balance it spot on for the price, so no complaints here. The only downside for us was the pervasiveness of smoking in the immediate vicinity and accompanying odor. If sensitive to smoke, this is probably not the property for you. Use of the AC unit and air fresheners in the unit kept the smell low inside. The hallway smelled VERY strongly in the hours when people were at home. It took us a bit to figure out, but the smell seeping into the unit was greatly helped by a towel pressed up against the bottom of the entry door.
