Plantagenet Cottage es único, encantador y escondido en las afueras de un pintoresco pueblo de Kent.

La casa de campo data del siglo XVI, cuando originalmente fue construida como una vivienda de una habitación por Richard Plantagenet, un hijo natural del rey Ricardo III [la que encontraron debajo del aparcamiento de Leicester], por lo que nuestro Richard era, en teoría, el último en el linaje de los Plantagenet Kings of England. Es una historia fascinante y encontrará un montón de información sobre esto en la casa de campo.

Dormimos 6 personas [posible 7º / niño] a través de 3 habitaciones de lujo - de hecho toda la propiedad individual ha sido recientemente renovado a un estándar muy alto ofreciendo todas las comodidades modernas y el confort mientras se mantenía la casa de encanto rústico y valor histórico.

El gran salón tiene 2 cómodos sofás, una televisión inteligente de plasma de 40 "con Netflix, Amazon / iPlayer etc. También cuenta con una chimenea rinconera grande - acogedoras chimeneas preciosos en climas más fríos. meses.

El comedor tiene una mesa sentado para 6 personas por debajo de un techo abovedado con un arco gótico que da al jardín.
También hay un espacio de oficina con los puertos de red y la impresora USB y de carga de la mayoría de las habitaciones. Hay una cocina totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos nuevos en un acabado de madera hechos a mano. Y un cuarto de baño con bañera, ducha y retrete - y tiene un agujero cubículo [con encimera de parquet] dentro de una chimenea de edad recientemente expuesto.

El jardín se envuelve alrededor de la propiedad y tiene un parque como se sienten con una gran cantidad de árboles y arbustos bien establecidos. Un montón de espacio para que jueguen los niños .. que incluso tienen montículos 'Teletubbies'! Hay una barbacoa y zonas exteriores de asientos.

Un punto a destacar en los meses más cálidos es la piscina climatizada al aire libre que se encuentra en una zona amurallada en un rincón soleado del jardín. PISCINA ABIERTA ENTRE ABRIL Y SEPTIEMBRE - La fecha exacta depende del clima.

Nuestra cabaña es realmente un lugar encantador que creemos que tiene un ambiente relajado y un buen ambiente.

Perfect Cottage

Wonderful stay at the perfect cottage in a great location. Spacious holiday home with everything we needed for a great week! Fully enclosed enormous garden, perfect for children and dogs. Hosts Tim & Maite were on hand for anything needed, highly recommend and will be back.

Core Memories Made

We stayed here as a family of 5 with ages ranging from 7 to teens to 40 somethings. We all had the most amazing 6 nights and we were so sad when our time had come to an end. The house, the garden, and the pool were incredible. We had some much needed quality family time and I would recommend this property without reservation, we had the most magical time.

Beautiful cottage and gardens

We really enjoyed our brief stay in this beautiful cottage. It had all the facilities needed, lovely interior designs and a wonderful garden - and pool! The location is good - easy access to local pub, or short drive to shops and amenities of a town - and everything that Kent has to offer. We managed to fit in, designer shopping, beach and Canterbury - plus lots of pool time.

Wonderful trip

What a fantastic house for a group of friends looking for a relaxing break away. The house was beautiful and equipped with everything you could need. The garden was magical and the pool was an amazing addition to our stay. The hosts were very attentive and available at anytime if you had any questions. There is a lovely pub on the green a couple minutes walk away and the town of Wye is a 10 minute drive away, with lots of walking routes if you want to stretch your legs. Thanks for having us, we look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful break

My family and I were slightly hesitant about booking a cottage in the midst of winter but we all had the best time ever. The Cottage is gorgeous and the wood-burning stove made it super cosy, the kids adored playing on the trampoline for hours on end. We discovered some stunning countryside walks and forests and quaint old Kentish pubs serving amazing food - we all want to come back already. Really organised hosts too - thank you !

A true secret garden

We stayed at the Plantagenet cottage the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and then with my husband for a complete get away. It was so special from start to finish! The cottage is hidden away from the real world, very peaceful. The garden is fantastic, with beautiful views out into the Eastwell manor grounds. Inside everything was clean and perfectly presented. So many original features and nods the older building with modern features to make cooking and relaxing nice and easy. Everything labelled clearly which is great, no confusion over keys, cupboards or lights. Tim was just leaving when we arrived and it was a pleasure to meet before we unpacked and settled in. A few helpful tips with the pool which was great, we got straight in and it was absolutely divine! I cannot fault our stay in any way, it was perfect. Thank you Tim and Maite.

Perfect week

Absolutely perfect holiday location

We went away as a family, two young kids and couldn’t fault it. Very private and out of the way, with lots of stuff a short drive away, including Ashford shopping centre and town. The pool is huge with lots of toys and fun things to use, already at the cottage. Lovely swing, trampoline and other various toys and bits around and in the cottage. The pictures don’t do it justice, the garden is huge and be prepared to get your steps in walking around it! Inside the cottage is beautiful and really gives you the home feeling while being on holiday. The hosts were 100% perfect with great communication and extremely welcoming. From the start of the booking process to the checking out, it was stress free and so easy. We appreciate everything that was done and how easy it all was. Thank you so much for the amazing experience and hope to come back in a couple of years for longer!

Everything we hoped it would be

This is a lovely house in a great location and comfortably fit the wife and I, my three young boys, the in-laws and their dog. It felt bigger than the pictures online which was great and the features within gave it real character. All was clean and ready for us with the owners communication great and overall very welcoming. The real highlight of this property though is the garden. While the enclosed pool was perfect, the best word to describe the garden is magical. You felt in your own little world and the kids and dog loved it especially. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return with both my family or with a group of friends. Stunning property with amazing outside space! :-)

We had the most wonderful stay at this property. The house is just perfect for a family get away and so peaceful. The gardens are huge and the pool is just great! We didn’t leave our whole stay and had the most relaxing time ever! Hosts were lovely and very good communication. Highly recommend. :-)

Perfect Tranquil location with private pool

Plantagenet Cottage is an amazing place to stay, lovely bedrooms (very comfy beds), a big garden with views of the sunset towards Eastwell Manor and a great private swimming pool. It’s such a tranquil location, perfect for relaxing by the pool or enjoying a barbecue in the garden. The cottage has been lovingly restored with great original features and everything you could need in the kitchen. Tim is a great host, quick to respond to any questions, gave really clear instructions on how to find the cottage and checking we had everything we needed. The cottage was clean and tidy, with a lovely welcome basket on arrival - even including dog treats for my friend’s dog. I really can’t recommend highly enough!

Had a lovely time staying at this cottage, the hosts have been great communicating and re-arranging our stay date due to lockdowns too. Felt like our own little space tucked away from everyone else with the massive garden and private pool area to enjoy. Beds were comfy too! Would definitely recommend.

Everything you need in a wonderful setting

Just spent a few days at this beautiful cottage. We had lovely weather so able to get the most out of spending time in the pool and wonderful garden. Great walk - just pop over the ladder. The cottage has everything you need and immaculately clean. Would love a return visit as lots to do round this area but could equally happy to just stay in the cottage.

Wonderful stay beautiful place!

3 generations loved staying here! The garden was just perfect for our kids despite typical bad weather! Tim was brilliant at communicating, we had a slight issue with the pool and he sent somebody straight over to remedy it. The trampoline kept my kids (and their grandparents!) entertained for hours. Beautiful surprise of being able to walk all round the old golf course and manor grounds over the fence We loved it! thank you !

Perfect holiday - Amazing cottage

Myself, my family and friends recently stayed in the cottage and we had the best time. From the minute we booked Tim was always on hand to answer any questions we had. The cottage itself was immaculate, and the personal touches such as sweets on the children's beds, fresh pastries on arrival, chargers plugged in for our use etc were fab. We stayed for the week and barely left the cottage as the children were having so much fun in the pool. 100% would recommend this property for a UK break. Location is fab for days out although we did not make the most of that as we had brilliant weather so stayed by the pool most days.

Beautiful cottage full of character

We had a lovely week away in Plantagenet Cottage. It is set in the most beautiful grounds, with a heated pool and trampoline. The beds were very comfortable, with high quality bed linen and super fluffy towels. Tim and Maite were immediately on hand when we needed to check anything, which was very reassuring. Great location - ideal for days out to Canterbury, Whitstable, the coast and many quaint Kent villages. We also ate out at some very good local eateries and walked to the village green to watch cricket. There was even a Scarecrow Safari the weekend we stayed! Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break away. Thanks so much!
