Salamander Resort And Spa
"Staff were very nice and knowledgeable about the history of the resort. My stay was very relaxing. I also enjoyed the zip-line tour. I recommend trying one of the salamander adventure activities."

Hyatt Place Herndon Dulles Airport East
"First disappointments - Hyatt Place has an ATM without cash in it! The food items for purchase and such are set up haphazardly, does not give an appealing, aesthetic look to draw attention and look professional, looked more like a concession stand at a stadium. There were hidden fees - $50 deposit even though I paid, $15 dollars a night for parking and parking area is minimal, the walls are rather thin and I could hear conversations of others in the next room (not adjoining rooms with a door. The elevators need some oiling or maintenance (slow and noisy. Not all buttons for the floors are working, and one of the emergency buttons is not set correctly making it look like it would not work if needed.) The staff I encountered were polite and one gal had an amazing sense of humor. My room was clean and fresh. The beds were comfy and different firmness in pillows offered allowing for a great nights sleep. The sliding glass door to the closet was off its rail which I let them know. Did not need the closet so not bothered by that. The couch was comfy and relaxing. TV did glitch in and out … forgot to tell them about that. The room was also spacious - two queen beds. Sitting area, microwave, small fridge, desk, couch, ottoman, ample vanity, nice size bathroom, hot shower, good water pressure… it was nice"
