Excellent shuttles getting to/from the airport

We took the shuttle to and from the hotel as we had an overnight layover. The shuttle drivers were friendly and efficient getting everyone loaded and unloaded. Check in went well and we were in our room very quickly.

Hidden $15 charge for parking-- hope you can walk to wherever you're going. Restaurant expensive and food is super salty. Pool is strictly adequate. Staff rude and pushy. WiFi is unusable for anything except web browsing; good luck trying to download anything for your kids to watch on the plane or actually get work done. Even the sound on the TV gets out of sync. Will never stay here again.

Trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum

In spite of ongoing lobby renovations, the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. The bar and restaurant staff was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the service and the attention to detail. The room was great (comfortable and quiet).

The woman at the front desk was not very friendly when us checking in. She was also difficult to understand. We were a little surprised when she told us we would be charged $15.00 per day for parking. But a very kind man behind the counter interrupted her and said there was no charge for our single night parking.
