St. George Inn & Suites
"My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. At check-in, I was surprised by an extra $56 charge for my dog, even though I had confirmed by phone before the trip that pet-friendly rooms were available. Upon arrival, the information changed, and I was forced to pay the fee. The room also had issues: the television didn't work, and the pool was dirty, indicating a lack of maintenance. The worst part happened at breakfast. Although it was served until 9:30 AM, I arrived at 9:25 AM; even though I was within the timeframe, the staff member began clearing away the food. At 9:30 AM, she removed the batter from the waffle maker, took away the eggs I had set aside, and the juice machine had already been dismantled. It was an extremely disrespectful situation for guests who were still using the service. The next day, I had a mechanical issue with my car and asked to leave my pet in the room for about two hours after check-out, offering to pay an additional fee. The reception staff was rude and unhelpful. Instead of trying to assist, they charged me for an extra full night and charged the pet fee again as well. Check-out was at 11:00 AM, and I left the hotel around 3:00 PM after resolving the vehicle issue. I consider this charge excessive and unfair. Between unexpected charges, contradictory information, lack of maintenance, and service that showed no regard for the customer, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I do not recommend it."
