The hotel was very close to Edgefield McMenamins where we love to visit and dine at the Black Rabbit Restaurant. It was also close to our relatives that we visited.

I contracted the hotel on Wednesday morning to cancel my reservation for that night because I was unable to fly into Portland because of weather in Denver. When I wen to check in, I found that the whole reservation had been cancelled. The staff person would not honor the original price. I was able to get a room at a higher price. Both the front desk personal were not as helpful as they could have been.
