Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa
"First of all WE WILL return. Loved the property, loved the P&Q (Stay at Captiva Tower if you want more peace). My ONE gripe, and I hope it is passed up the chain to management, is that we stayed over on a three day holiday weekend. BOTH the new evening Dinner cruise AND the Courtside Steakhouse were only operating on Friday and Saturday night, CLOSED for both Sunday and Monday (Memorial day). I completely agree with closure on Memorial day, but guys, come on. For a THREE day weekend, with "over 85% occupancy", you keep the two major evening meal destinations closed? From a business standpoint, how much capital do you think you missed out on? I heard MANY other guests parallel the same opinions. Business is business. You should have catered to the guests!!! "Off season" is not off season for Florida Natives! ALSO it is very clear you are short staffed in the service areas. For example, the poor woman doing the omlette bar for the breakfast buffet was also running around like crazy re stocking the hot trays; also wait staff VERY thin in the two other restaurants."
