Hampton by Hilton Ashford International
"Very nice room, aircon worked extremely well, had to turn it down a bit despite staying over on one of the heatwave nights. Staff were excellent, and breakfast was nice as well. Only thing to mention was the lack of parking availability. Whilst I booked my parking spot well in advance, it was clear ..."

The Chatsworth Hotel
"Firstly this is not a 5 star level. The first impressions of the hotel were poor. The entrance was dirty. The doors were closed and it felt very unwelcoming. It has potential to improve bu adding nice fresh flowers and welcoming staff. The lady at reception could be more friendly. We did arrive early ..."

"Only odd thing was that children couldn’t serve themselves from the breakfast buffet, so parental are busy going up and down instead. Also would recommend putting an electric car charger in the parking. Nice fish pond"

The Grand Hotel Eastbourne
"We stayed for the East Bourne air show- a very hot weekend. We had a spacious room around the back somewhere without air conditioning, although a fan was provided (and we took one with us) and being out the glare of the sun we did not melt. Breakfast, again without aircon was uncomfortable. The hotel is in a great setting but now getting a little tired, that said, I cannot imagine what a refurb would cost nor whether it would be affordable! Breakfast its self was perfect and the staff, many of whom I suspect were draft in for the busy weekend, were nothing short of excellent. I will be going back next year, and would recommend it to others."
