Welcome to the heart of downtown Wilmington, NC! This loft is privately tucked upstairs in the historic Shrier building with so much within walking distance:

Steps to coffee, coworking, shopping, and dining
1 block from the Wilmington Riverwalk
2 blocks to Cape Fear Community College
5 min walk to the Convention Center
15 minute walk to the Live Oak Bank Pavilion
3 miles to Battleship NC
7 miles to the University of Wilmington
20 minute drive to Wrightsville Beach, 30 minutes to Carolina Beach!

The space
You will love the contrast of being right in the center of downtown while being able to walk up to a completely private loft with all the comforts of home. The walls are 12ft tall and new updates throughout give this loft a spacious and modern feel. You will LOVE the balcony overlooking Front Street. Talk about just sitting back, relaxing, people watching, and being able to enjoy the bustle from above. AND the last little luxury I'd love to mention is my awesome dry sauna in my master bathroom!

Entire Place. Quiet hours 10p-8a. No parties.

Other things to note
No free parking for my loft. Street parking is free from 6:30pm-9:00am Monday through Saturday and free on Sunday. I park in the lot behind the building and sometimes find street parking right in front. There are several decks around and I just unload in the front (if space allows) and then I move my car.

There is a walk up! One flight of stairs, no elevator.

Sleeps 6 means: Two beds (one queen, one king) and one pull out sofa. As my spot is so spacious it comfortably sleeps 6. I also have an air mattress as well. Please disclose all guests staying overnight as we set up accordingly.

I have a similar unit exactly adjacent to this unit, within same walk up. If you are booking a bigger party, let me know.

We were so pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed staying here. Clean and so well equipped. We walked to restaurants and enjoyed walking the boardwalk. Parking was easy. This historic property was perfect for our long weekend getaway, it was exactly as advertised. We were a family of 5, including 3 teens. Beautiful space right in the heart of downtown Wilmington. We were there at the same time as the Azalea festival and we were right in the middle of it all. Could walk anywhere you wanted. And the space was quiet. Bedrooms were big. Everything was clean. Perfect place to stay and we will definitely be back!

We were there for daughter's graduation from UNCW, sad we found this place as she was graduating because we would have loved to have stayed there on visits for all 4 years. We cannot say enough about the location and ease of getting to all the places we would like/need to go. Parking is convenient either on the street or there is an easily, inexpensive parking deck directly behind the building. The place was super clean and aesthetically appeasing . Loved the balcony overlooking the street below. When we go back to Wilmington, we will definitely see if this is available first choice.
