"This is just a beautiful location, nestled in the middle of an equally beautiful little town. It was the best place I stayed on my solo 2600-mile drive from northern CA to MN. I would plan future routes from one to the other to include another stay here. The restaurants in town truly are, as the lodge claims, within seven blocks of it. All the amenities were fine."

"Nervous about prior reviews complaining of highway noise, I was unable to change our assigned room. We were at the new property across the street and had no problem with noise in a first floor room facing the parking lot. The property itself is also quiet and the staff friendly and polite. There was a small in-room refrigerator. Coffee (including almond milk) and microwave were in the lobby. We had a micro-king room and it was spacious enough for two with a very spacious bathroom. The room was very clean and the bed was excellent for a good night’s sleep after hiking. Columbia Falls for dining and groceries was a short drive. We hiked at Glacier and it was a short/easy drive too. "
