Older building, but in great shape. New heating/cooling system. Everything was clean and neat. Staff was very friendly. Single room wasn't large, but made very efficient use of the square footage. Décor was pleasing. Television, cable and Wi-Fi all worked well. Breakfast wasn't large, but was excellent.

Nice location in Waterloo right on main street, but close to many Finger Lakes attractions. It was very relaxing. We just went there to relax and do nothing for a few days. It was exactly what we wanted. The breakfast was great. The innkeepers are fun. Overall a very nice experience.

Great place to stay, with some fun history.

Had a great one night stay at the Inn. The owners are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We booked a smaller room, so space was tight, but we loved how they arranged things so that all of the amenities of a private bath were available right in our room. The room itself was super clean and comfortable and the extra sitting areas available to all guests were wonderfully arranged and comfortable as well. We really enjoyed our stay. Our only (very tiny) hiccup was that parking isn't obvious from the front of the building and it was a rather small space for the number of rooms available. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place to stay.

Thank you so much for your kind words, we hope you come back again to visit soon. Also, Stephani and I have been discussing some strategies to better improve the parking lot in the rear of the property, including expanding the area, and painting lines to better assist guests find a comfortable spot to park.

Not worth the money...

Pros: The room was decorated nicely. But that is the only thing we can say good about it.
Cons: Some one should be at the front desk at least around checkin time.
Location: gdf
There was no one at the front desk when we checked in just our room key and some paper work explaining where our room was located. The toilet would not stop running and I left a note but it was never fixed. We had difficulty sleeping There was no one to clean the room and no one to fill the coffee for our second day. My wife and I were very disappointed to say the least and we will never stay there again.;

Beautiful Inn with character

This is a beautifully restored Victorian house. It's just a "Bed" and not a B&B, but there are plenty of dinning options nearby. When you enter the front door there is a table with your key and directions to your room (no staff apparent, which made it hard to rate the staff). We had the "Garden" room, which is a small suite. It was nicely decorated, 12 foot ceilings, comfortable bed, small sitting area for watching the street and lawn next door, and lots of storage space. The only downside to the room was the A/C. We were there on one of the hottest most humid days of the year. The A/C had trouble keeping the room below 80 degrees F. Even working all night the room only got down to 76F. Overall, my wife and I would certainly stay there again.

Great stay in wine country

This is a great place to stay if you are interested in the wineries along Cayuga and Seneca Lakes as well as the waterfalls in Montour Falls and Watkins Glen. We had a large room with all the amenities needed in a beautiful historical home. We relaxed on the front porch in the evenings. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing vacation!
