"Worth the money."
Pictures exemplified the scenery and structure. Staff was helpful especially with complimentary shuttle service to the main areas of the island. Its also one of the first hotels to start the Waikiki area so shuttles from other adventures usually picked us up first and dropped us off first. Very close to everything you need.

"If you have to be in Honolulu for business ... "
a very pleasant and professional staff throughout the property; the bottles of water upon check-in an unexpected treat and something more properties should provide rather than charge for considering all hotels have a 'resort fee' charge anymore. Parking is valet only and service very prompt.

"WOW- Great Value for Luxury"
My husband and I spent 5 days at the Trump International Hotel in Waikiki. From the moment you get out of the vehicle they are there to take your bags, greet you with Shell leis, better than flowers they don’t die and whisk you to reception. Every staff member we bumped into whether reception, concierge, bellhop or housekeeping was friendly and smiled. The room was WOW. Very clean with kitchenette fully stocked with pots, dishes, blender, toaster, refrigerator, sink, microwave and stove top. Everything you need to cook and enjoy your meals, plus save money on eating out all the time. Every room, from what I understand has a balcony and even with a city view, we had a partial ocean view. They made sure you had bottled water always on hand if you needed more it was a simple call to reception and it was at your room within minutes. There is also a small food truck lot next to hotel that sold local foods. We had a few meals there and it was good for the price. But get there early, they sell out fast. Pool is not very large, but perfect for wading. There is also a hot tub spa for relaxing in. The pool has a lot of lounge chairs some in sun and some in shade. I didn’t come to Hawaii to swim in a pool, but I did use the hot tub. There is poolside service with bar and food. I highly recommend the Mai Tai and the Lychee Mojito. Nicole and Tanja, pool attendants were so very attentive, friendly, and just made the stay perfect. Concierge was also very helpful, especially Mia

"Nice hotel close to the beach"
Hotel was really nice, but it's attached to a really loud bar that plays extremely loud music until 3 am, on a Tuesday night. Be sure to ask for a room as far away from this as possible. Accommodations and staff were excellent.

"4 Days inWaikiki"
We had a marvelous time in Waikiki. The Pacific Beach Hotel was comfortable and in a great location. The service was very good. We were a little disappointed to find the pool in the middle of remodeling. The hotel in general is in need of remodeling. The breakfast in the hotel cafeteria is a bit too expensive at US$ 30 per person. Walking a few feet from the hotel to the beach is....priceless!!!...

"1 week stay at Aqua Palms"
We stayed one full week at the Aqua Palms in a diamond head view room with a king sized bed and sofa in the room. The room is a little dated and you could get real nit picky about things but for the cost and the size of the room we were more than pleased. Housekeeping does a great job daily straightening up the room if you like. There is a nice little table with 2 chairs to eat at, the balcony has 2 nice chairs and a little table out there to sit outside. Our diamond head view room also had views of the ocean in 2 different spots, BONUS! However the room faces Ala mona blvd.... and it is LOUD all hours of the day and night, but if you run the air conditioner on the circulating mode at night it helps drown out the sound of the traffic below. There is no hospitality room if you have a late flight, but we did get to check out at 1pm for no additional cost and they will hold your luggage until 7pm which is really nice. The front desk staff were AWESOME About giving me details on which bus # to take to get to certain destinations, ie: Diamond head, Pearl Harbor, Chinatown, etc.... You can save lots of money by just going to these places on you own instead of booking a "tour there".

    Waikiki Hotel Guide

Waikiki is located on the southern shore of Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii. Once a home for Hawaiian royalty, Waikiki is renowned for its beaches and is the location of many of Honolulu's hotels and resorts. Even cheap hotels in Waikiki are near the beach, which makes it a popular vacation spot. Flights to Honolulu get you as close to Waikiki as possible, and then it's only a 9-mile drive from the airport to Waikiki Beach.

    Out and About in Waikiki

Waikiki is a beach and water lover's paradise, and Waikiki hotel deals sometimes include lessons for surfing and other water sports. Tear yourself away from the sun and surf to visit the Honolulu Zoo, which houses about 1,000 different animals. Spend some time learning about local sea life at the Waikiki Aquarium, home to green sea turtles, Hawaiian monk seals, and a giant clam display. Pay homage to "the father of modern surfing" on Kuhio Beach, where a bronze statue of Duke Kahanamoku honors the Olympic swimmer and native Hawaiian son. Hotels in Waikiki aren't be far from the Waikiki Beach Walk, an 8-acre entertainment district featuring boutiques, restaurants, and an outdoor plaza for live performances such as hula dancing, Hawaiian quilt making, and local music.

    Eating and Drinking

There are restaurants located throughout Waikiki, in the resorts and hotels as well as scattered throughout the Beach Walk. A couple of Beach Walk restaurants feature Hawaiian fare like fresh seafood, poke, and macademia-crusted fish, while the rest are mainly typical American fare such as subs, sandwiches, steaks, and burgers. Seek out other native dishes such as paulau (pork wrapped in taro leaf), Pipikaula (jerky), kalua pig, and poi (made from the taro plant) in restaurants throughout Waikiki. Beach Walk also features some nightlife in the way of bars, but you'll need to head to downtown Honolulu if you're looking for a wide variety of live music venues and dancing.
