Lovely stay. Great location in the centre of old town. Huge art deco room, with tremendous character. Loved the bath and shower configuration, very modern. Comfortable bed with luxury pillows. Hotel served coffee and tea in the lounge area and also at a different hour hot apple cider and wine, all on the house. The red owl restaurant location on the first floor served a limited menu of very good food. Staff were friendly, welcoming and everything they should be to make your stay memorable.

Efficient staff and great food and service at the Red Owl tavern, breakfast and dinner. Room and hallway carpet old, worn and traffic stained. Room we stayed in definitely needed makeover. Hotel was super nice and had a wine/ pineappple cider happy hour. Very convenient to liberty bell and Independence Hall want is walking distance to Reading Terminal Market with MANY choices of great food to eat.
