Also very relaxing swing chairs and patio area to lounge in, read or eat - has BBQ too. Nearby hiking and biking trails, ski slopes and more outdoor activities and beauties. Some construction nearby added to the otherwise quiet spot, but nothing bad. There is a tourist information and park nearby too. "

"We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the property. The kitchen was pretty well stocked in terms of kitchen appliances and dishes. The large dining table was nice for our group of 8 to comfortably eat together. The house is close to a major road and there was a lot of noise from motorcycles and loud cars. The river out back was nice but smaller than we expected. The neighbours across the road had 3 confederate flags on display, which unsettled us a bit. One of the men who lives there works for this property owner and was coming into the yard to drop off firewood he was cutting all day long which made us feel a bit uncomfortable as a group of women. The owner should ask that he only deliver wood between guests and stay out of the yard when guests are present. "

"Wonderful, clean and peaceful place. Very quiet area and private backyard with a little river. We enjoyed the spa and had a little campfire. It was very easy to communicate with the owners, who answered very quickly when we couldn’t find the spa chemicals. The location is very close to some nice family-friendly and dog-friendly hiking trails (5 min drive to Les sentiers de l’amitié) and a short 10 km drive to the mountain biking trails at Montcalm bike park. Anything you might need is easily accessible within a short drive (grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store, gas). Highly recommend this cottage. We will be back.
