"We loved this place. It is in the heart of Harlem- a great location. THe fifth floor resturant is swanky. We will return. It's a hip place to stay!"

"Prior to retiring at the end of May this year, I lived across the street on Convent Avenue. So on a return visit, I looked for accommodations and was very pleased to find even more stunning historic arrangement that was very convenient clean and very easy to set up and navigate, there are two subway lines in either direction that are convenient and it’s a wonderful neighborhood just three blocks from the City College campus one of the most beautiful in all of Manhattan the woodwork and the restoration of this property looks amazing and is very comforting"

"Exactly what you pay for. A good deal for NYC, especially during a holiday weekend. Facilities were kept clean and neighbors were never noisy. Outside area is a little sketchy in the night time but not the worst. Hotel is extremely close from the Malcolm X station and takes less than 30 minutes on the subway to get to most of Manhattan. Only gripe was that cleaning attendants might sometimes enter your room without permission for maintenance (despite not requesting it). Nothing was stolen, but we still felt uncomfortable when staff would enter when we were/weren't there, even without requesting."
