The APA Hotel Uozu-Ekimae is positioned 6 miles (10 kilometers) from the central part of Uozu. Or, alternatively, the Hotel Route-Inn Uozu is located 6 miles (9 kilometers) away. Other accommodation options worth checking out are the APA Hotel Toyama along with the Ryokan Dangoya.

The wider Chubu district is definitely worth visiting as well. Chubu is well known for beaches, and common sights include ruins and castles. Bold visitors can also get involved in snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing in this part of Japan.

25 miles (43 kilometers) to the west of Uozu you can find Himi, which is home to the Kanaya-cho Street. Kanayamachi has a great range of places to stay. If you're after another option, you may wish to stay at Himi, which is found 30 miles (49 kilometers) to the west of Uozu. There, make sure you have a look at the Himi Seaside Botanical Garden.
