"Not what you'd expect for a $400/nt Marriott. Old lumpy uncomfortable mattress, a lot of dark mold/mildew in the shower and bath floor tile, no (or broken) AC in the common sitting areas on a 90 degree day so it felt like a sauna, entrance doors with most of the paint worn off. "First the Dillard's house has the most beautiful view of the mountains it was so gorgeous we really loved eating in the front dining room and enjoying the delicious food at the restaurant. The staff was very nice, and we had a drink at the bar; Carlton the bartender was interesting and made a killer cocktail.🎉 Our room was very clean but it's a walk into the 1960s... The room furnishings were very old vintage upholstery 😬I would say but the mattress was new and the towels were clean.They had two guys outside playing music on the lawn. The guys on the lawn were versatile with the music but once "Freebird" started we had to go. It was July 4th & there were a few weird things... They had a fire pit roaring, right next to the musicians well it was hot very hot outside and you couldn't sit close to the music because the fire made it way too hot ..s'mores on July 4th come on? it's Georgia ice cream Popsicles or shaved ice would have been way smarter and helped people sit on the lawn through the heat."
