The front desk was absent when I arrived. Restaurant was excellent with excellent service. No hot water for a shower after running water for a long time. When alerted front desk - no apologies. Only said - “still, well we have no maintenance staff”. I had high hopes as Canadian-owned hotel, but was very disappointed. Will not stay again.

There was a massive group of hockey players that took over the pool and hot tub and were not supervised and were smacking each other with wet towels and swearing and whistling at my 15 year old daughter. They made sexual comments toward her too, it was really awkward. It was super loud, and people were smoking weed in the hallway of our room. It wasn’t family friendly. The front desk clerk was a Spanish lady and she was super nice. I felt bad for her because there were tons of people milling around the lobby, it was super loud.

It’s generally a nice hotel. Just needed some attention to details, including a squeaky bathroom door and missing TV remote. The hot tub had nice pressure while the water was luke warm. The airport shuttle was efficient with little wait time. All the staff we encountered were friendly and responsive.
