I would have to refer to this hotel as hit and miss. I emailed them to let them know I was coming in on a red-eye and asked if I could store my bag, I received a very prompt reply telling me I could and how to get the shuttle. When I arrived a very nice, very professional lady assisted me stored my bag and helped me with a map for taking the UPexpress. Took the shuttle back to the airport and toured Toronto for the day, I was quite tired when I returned at 6:30PM. A different person was at the desk I told her I had been in earlier and dropped my bag she said and inquired "too bad you can't have it back" and laughed, do I know she was joking yesterday, did I find it funny no, completely unprofessional. She was not very polite after I didn't laugh. I went to my room, very beautiful, clean and spacious. I went to the restaurant on the property for dinner, I told the girl 1, she said you can sit here (one of two small tables) or at the bar, I chose the table and she asked twice wouldn't I rather sit at the bar..NO. The woman who was tending bar came over, very nice took both my drink and dinner order, she was very friendly, professional. My dinner was exceptional, grilled Halibut cooked to perfection. When I returned from my day out I again ate in the restaurant not good, had Fish/Chips. When I left the girl at the desk was more interested in flirting with another guest. It's a beautiful property comfortable clean-staff is hit and miss.

This hotel is awesome! The breakfast lived up to the hype. The staff were super friendly. The rooms were awesome. Extremely clean, and the fact that the floors are wood and not carpet is much appreciated by someone who has asthma and allergies. I specifically booked a night here because I was loyal to IHG and had a bad experience at a nearby IHG hotel. This hotel was light years better than the IHG one, and the manager thanked me for being a Hilton honors member and gave me an early check in even though I had 0 nights this year. This experience was so good that I am considering changing my loyalty to Hilton!
