Beautiful hotel, amazing service, great location!
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk to many shops and restaurants as well as Ripley's Aquarium and Second City. The staff were friendly and helpful with absolutely anything we needed. The restaurant was delicious with impeccable service. I would stay there again with pleasure, and I'd strongly recommend it to others.

Booking on Expedia was put on the front side of the property on the 7th floor and heard the street car all night. Property was maintained but a little dated. Clean but lacked some attention to detail. Large spacious rooms, pretty worn beds. Parking across the street was convenient. Chairlift doesn’t work without attended must lift stroller inside when entering and exciting, no ramp or ground level access which was inconvenient. Lobby was dead, Dark and dim.Stayed Thursday -Sat hotel does not seem lively at all. Good location, be weary of the homeless by the church.

We stayed here twice over the course of a weekend. The first time all was well--friendly, helpful staff & decent rooms. I positively love that the room had two bathrooms. The second time all was not well-- our room was not ready until at least an hour after check-in time & when we finally got in, we found that the shower was completely broken. The manager's efforts to fix the situation were friendly but only served to further inconvenience us.

It is situated 10 min to the Union train station and five min to the Lawrence market, ten min walk to Eton and that area. Very quiet inside out. There is a High Tea in the cafe on the weekend. It was quite delicious and full filling. You will find more pubs and cafes behind the hotel along Front stree.
