Good location. Nice property and good breakfast. Bad customer service. We stayed in three different Nohga hotels the past two weeks and this was the only one with bad customer service. I asked for a nespresso machine in the room for my birthday, as they have them in some rooms, they did not accept. I wanted to eat a croissant in my room after breakfast, the staff did not accept. Are we at school? We did not enjoy this hotel because of the staff.

Serene oasis in the city

Great stay in this chic boutique hotel. Really nice location on a quieter street near Ueno Station. The room was well appointed and the bed was excellent, with enough space to easily move around. The public areas were plentiful and also comfortable - our group made regular use of the second floor lobby, the outside seating area on the second floor, and also the patio on the ground floor. The architecture, decor, amenities, service, and ambience all made for a very relaxing and appealing stay. We also had dinner at the hotel bistro, and cannot say enough good things about the dishes we ordered. We would very happily return on our next visit to Tokyo.

Was expecting a bigger room but other than the room size our stay was a pleasant one. The staff was very friendly english was a part of the spoken language. Only cons that i have encountered was the additional fee/tax which really wasnt much as well as the inability to do early check in w/out an additional fee.

Windows are not sound proof and there was an ongoing construction in the night. Also the restaurant on 1F is clearly trying to rip people off, tiny bit of food and costs 8000yen dinner. If I didn’t have the 5000yen one off coupon I wouldn’t have dined there. Room is particularly small and without bathtub. Comparing to Asakusa View Hotel Annex Rokku, though the price is almost the same but this hotel is clearly a downgrade.

This hotel is very nice especially for the price! It’s only a 15 minute walk from the skyliner AirPort Express train to/from Narita airport. I would say here again! The Ueno area is pretty and quiet but night time eateries abound —perfect combo! And it’s on the Yamanote line
