We stayed at this waterfront property in Maine for five days with our family and had a wonderful overall experience. The home is stunning and exactly as advertised, with incredible ocean views and a peaceful, remote setting that made it easy to truly relax. Being right on the water was a highlight, and the house itself is charming, comfortable, and well laid out.There are two things future guests should be aware of. The electrical system in the kitchen is a bit sensitive, and using all the lights at once sometimes caused the power to trip, requiring a reset at the breaker. Also, the water has a strong sulfur smell (similar to rotten eggs), likely due to the well/septic system, which was noticeable when using sinks and showers.Aside from these points, we really enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet oceanfront getaway."
