"Nous avions une chambre avec «cuisine», mais les équipements fournis ne permettent pas vraiment de cuisiner: il y a peu de vaisselle, la cafetière et le grille pain ne donnaient pas envie de s’en servir… Également les photos donnent l’impression d’un établissement pratiquement neuf, alors que ce n’est pas le cas. "My family of 5, rented 3 rooms at the Zulu Surf hotel, everyone gives it 5 stars. All slept well on the comfortable beds, Staff was friendly and helpful. Not a lot of amenities, but we were not expecting any. But there was coffee, and games to play on a covered patio with a nice breeze. Conveniently next door to a wonderful pastry and restaurant, plus a food court. The beach was a very short distance, 5 minute walk. Lots of shops to browse, and plenty of restaurants up and down the street. Tamarindo is convenient if you wish to do activities life Iguana surf lessons and surf camp, zipline and ATV, a bit further you have Chris Diving, my family went with Chris, his family worked hard and patiently and took a lot of time to get one family member through anxiety and panic attacks, Lessons taught in the pool the day prior. 18 and 15 years old's, dove like pro's. The neighborhood felt safe and we were comfortable letting the 18 and 15 year old to wonder the main road at night. I can't recommend this charming hotel enough! Felt like home rather then a hotel."

"Our staying Epic was truly special. You will notice the attention to deal from very beginning. Staff amazed us with their level of care. The units and property is pretty new and location was close enough to the city and beach but laid back enough to stay away from all the craziness. We will go back!"

"What a great trip or group of 5 families (9 adults, 9 teens) had in this property! Each of the bungalows was identical with a large deck, a small kitchen area, two spacious bedrooms and two expansive bathrooms. The AC in the bedrooms was perfect. We opted to have Alicria cook our dinners and some breakfasts for us and they were outstanding. She hit the quantities of everything spot on, and accommodated our mix of meat eaters and vegetarians perfectly. Sher, the concierge took care of finding us the best activities and vendors. We had surf lessons, an estuary tour, daily yoga and a sunset tour. All of the providers she worked with were fantastic. The pool was cleaned daily and started a wonderful temperature even though it was so hot outside. Manfred, the owner was responsive when we requested some fans for the shelter above the communal kitchen. Our group could not have been happier with this rental--the perfect blend of private and public space, great food at great prices, and beachfront on a sandy, deserted, beautiful beach with warm swimmable water. What more could you want?"
