The staff at Ten North is fantastic and made all the difference. Kind, helpful, consistent, and present. The property is simple, clean and can fit a range of needs based on who is traveling. The location is ideal if you want total convenience and to be in the heart of Tamarindo. No need for a car if you plan to enjoy the area and book some tours. Only downside is that it can be very noisy as it's next to a skate park and bars. The team has great AC and noisemakers which make a big difference. We plan to come back one day. With a repeat! Extra thanks to Karol!

We stayed at this hotel from Dec 24-31, 2025. We liked that there is a large gate and security cameras in front of the property. The hotel is located just steps from many restaurants, shops and the beach. The room was clean and airconditioned and we had a safe for our valuables. Breakfast was included and every morning a different one was offered. My favorite was when Ms. Laura was making it. There is a nice pool area if you wish stay on property. We will definitely return next year.

The room was spacious for a family of 4 adults. There was a separate room for each bed, which was nice. The common area was great so we could leave our suitcase there. The hotel is right in the centre of the town, so it's very walkable to lots of dining options and the beach. At night, it was quiet around and safe. We rented a car so it was great that there was parking on premise. The staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel for groups!

We had a lovely stay in the 2bdrm poolside - highly recommend being poolside if you can! The staff was responsive and quick to resolve a mixup at check in, which we greatly appreciated. Breakfast, which varied every morning, was fantastic. Pool was super-refreshing for a quick dip. Awesome location, easy to walk to just about anywhere. Resident kitties an added plus.

Karol was amazing but the other lady wasn’t as friendly. It was close to most everything but there was nothing else good about it. Our reservation said free breakfast, we went and asked the lady said $15 per person, the rooms are very old and outdated. The bathroom was horrible and most of all we were there 4 nights and had to go three out of the 4 nights to get clean towels and bring our garbages out. We did manage to get our beds made 1 night by housekeeping It has great reviews but I’m never gonna trust reviews again. They did manage to book our pick up from the airport and drop off to Riu but the bad definitely outweighed the good The best part of this place is Karol at the front desk!! I rate this hotel at the most 3 stars and that’s being generous. We travel often and I was very disappointed in this hotel.

This is our second stay at Ten North. We had a small apartment with a bedroom, kitchen and balcony. The space is not fancy but clean and comfortable. It is quite and safe and a short walk to the beach and restaurant. The staff is nice and helpful. We would recommend this hotel.

I loved my stay at Ten North Tamarindo. It is conveniently located across from a supermarket, a block from the best nightlife, and a block from the beach. It was very quiet at night. The pool is great for cooling off during the day. The room was spotless and everything worked well. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Great coffee every morning and VERY cold filtered water for filling your bottle.

What a beautiful oasis right in the heart of Tamarindo! Breakfast served by the pool with a field of horses behind us. Secure on site parking. Would definitely recommend. Bed was comfortable too!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and loved our stay! The table under the covered patio was great for playing games and hanging out when it rained, but also provided sun protection. The rooms were quite soundproof which I appreciated. We enjoyed both going in the pool and taking a short walk to the ocean, which the hotel conveniently had some chairs we could borrow as well as beach towels. Lots of dining nearby as well as a grocery store across the street. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had and included a smoothie and fresh fruits. The staff were very friendly and remembered preferences day to day. We felt very safe with a locked gate at night and a staff on overnight as well. We would stay again when back in Tamarindo.

This small hotel was wonderful! The staff was exceptional and willing to help as needed. Our ”casita” provided for all our needs. There was a small kitchen if you so desired to heat or cook a meal or snack.i would not think twice about rebooking at this hotel.

The spot was conveniently located with a walkable distance to everything in Tamarindo. With many shopping, restaurants, surf schools, coffee, shops, bakeries, and even tattoo and piercings. It is a quaint space, we got to know our neighbours as well, we all faced the pool, which was nice and refreshing after a humid walk through the city. Laura, provided us with great breakfast every single morning with a good variety. Would definitely book you again.
