Room is fine. Check in was slow. The person at check in told me they could not exchange foreight currency from USD to RMB and suggested I go to the bank acound the corner. I made the same request to another staff member the next morning and he met my request without problem

Taicang Hotel & Travel Guide
You will find the neighborhood of Taicang 13 miles (21 kilometers) to the east of Suzhou's downtown.
If you and your travel buddies are stopping off at Taicang, the Jinling Garden Hotel Taicang and Jin Jiang International Hotel Taicang are all within a short walk of the Zhang Pu Residence. Additionally, the Holiday Inn Taicang City Centre and Taicang Vienna International Hotel are all located in closer proximity to the Gaoqiao Bridge, if this is more convenient.
Visitors will find a limited selection of accommodation to decide from in Taicang, so reserve the Four Points by Sheraton Taicang if you desire a more upscale option.
Wuzhong, 40 miles (63 kilometers) from Taicang, boasts a good selection of places to stay.
