"When you are in Iceland you dont spend much time in your hotel, this one was conveniently located outside the city, we only slept there 1 night, room is very small but the bed was comfy. The staff was helpful. The included breakfast was also helpful."

"We booked the best, most expensive room on the top floor with a view for 2 people (room 40) at Hotel Viking. We were disappointed that the room size was very small compared to what we are used to in the US. Upon entering the room the first thing we noticed was there was no place to put our 4 luggage bags - 2 carry-on and 2 full sized, as we had packed for a 10 day trip. I went to the front desk and asked for 2 luggage stands and they said they didn't have any. There was one tiny desk in the room and I ended up putting one large bag on top, leaving no room for a laptop or charging cell phones. I sat the other large bag on the only chair in the room. We put the 2 smaller bags on the bed any time we needed something, then back on the floor they went. Also, only one side of the bed had a tiny night stand. There was no room on the other side for a second one. The space for the bed is about 2 feet wider than the bed itself. There was no place at all to sit, except on the bed. The bathroom sink was the bare minimum size possible. There was no place to put even a small toiletry bag on it (or any where else in the bathroom for that matter). The staff and service were EXCELLENT and very friendly - just don't expect a Marriott sized room. It was definitely a tight fit but luckily, we were there only 2 days. Our dinner both nights at Fjorukrain restaurant next door was incredible! Easily 5 stars. I would definitely go back there to eat again!"
