The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. There’s a rest area equipped with a large TV, which was a nice touch. However, the kids’ channels in the room weren’t working, which was a bit disappointing.

If it wasnt for the location i wouldnt bother staying here. It was just an average stay with a huge price tag. The rooms are not the nicest and the bed was very uncomfortable.

The staff is the best asset of this establishment. The front desk staff, the kitchen/dining room staff, the room attendants wer all kind, attentive and quick to help.10 across the board. The hotel was quiet and clean and inviting. Being nestled on an 900 year old lava bed and surrounded my the beautiful volcanoes made it even more appealing. I will definitely return and recommend The Northern Lights Inn.

They had the most flexible breakfast times, an incredible restaurant, and more amenities than any other hotel we stayed at. The view was a bit harsh, lava rocks and a power plant.

Great place!

Great place. I loved the shared space with the honesty store. The hotel was clean with a good breakfast spread. There are no nearby stores or restaurants as the closest town is empty due to last year's volcano eruption. The restaurant was delicious with choices of meat, chicken or fish. A great bar! A shout out to the waiter. He was very helpful and friendly. 4 minutes drive to the Blue Lagoon

This is the best place! They were over and beyond helpful. This is the best place to stay, they have a spa on site, great continental breakfast , restaurant and lots of areas to seat and relax. 40 miles to Reykjavik, 5 min walk to the Blue Lagoon!

Highly recommend!! The location is absolutely perfect. Within easy walking distance of the Blue Lagoon. Close to the airport. And perfectly situated away from light pollution to view the Northern Lights! The Inn was clean, beautiful, warm, lots of windows, cozy living spaces with a beautiful fire and games to play, and the staff was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!
