I don’t even know where to begin. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. First, the room was filthy. There were stains on the sheets, hair in the shower, and a strange, musty smell that hit me the moment I walked in. I asked the front desk to send someone to clean — they promised someone would be up in 10 minutes. An hour later? Still nothing. The air conditioning didn’t work, and when I called to report it, the staff seemed annoyed and offered no solution other than “open a window.” Great, except I was on the ground floor in a noisy area next to a dumpster. Speaking of noise — I could hear everything. Paper-thin walls meant I was serenaded by my neighbors’ TV, arguments, and late-night “activities” well into the early morning. Avoid this place like the plague. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free.

We have stayed at other La Quinta hotels in the past but we were very disappointed in the wear and tear of this one. We could not go swimming because the pool was extremely dirty and I’m not sure what was in the water as the color was not clear.

Made reservations for this hotel and our experience was terrible. The room was old and not well kept or maintained. The toilet was plugged upon arrival and had to change rooms due to noone on site with a plunger to fix. The front office staff was unappealing and not helpful at all. The grounds were unkept and had no curb appeal. And the beds were horribly uncomfortable.. I will never stay here again!

The outer walls seem so think. I could hear everything going on outside. I drove all night and planned on slipping all day. But between the staff and other guest i got zero sleep. Plus the pillows seem old and knotted up.

Not sure I’d stay here again

I stayed here the week before but got a room on the second floor and had a great experience. It was quiet, room looked nice and clean, and smelled fine. The second time I stayed for two nights. There were a lot of people partying and constantly walking by my room. Drunk men were bringing hookers over (yes, they said it out loud too). It made it hard to sleep both of the two nights of my stay. The room looked a bit ran down, phone did NOT work, room smelled like smoke, and had stains in the bathtub (not hard water stains, because I wiped them). I had my 3 year old son with me and felt uncomfortable. I didn’t sleep both nights because of it. I live out of town but from Stockton, so I know how it is. I wasn’t expecting quiet luxury. But I wasn’t expecting La Quinta to be that bad.
