"Reasonable price, centre of town location, the room and bathroom were a decent size as well as clean, comfy and well equipped. The stand out was the very cosy bed and pillows. The pub itself had friendly staff and nice food that was reasonably priced. The only points to note are that staying on a Saturday in summer meant I couldn’t park outside the hotel and had to park further up the high street. Note parking restrictions are mon to sat 8 am to 6 pm. The water pressure in the town is not great and that affected my shower. Also being a Saturday night in a pub there was some noise but generally quieter after closing and a good pair of foam ear plugs helps drown out the town centre hourly clock gongs. Overall I would stay again."

"This was better than I first thought. Staying for business and I need somewhere close to where I was working for 1 night. The email with entry instructions arrived in good time and entry to the building was easy too and parking across the road. Room was perfectly adequate, clean and tidy. The freshly cooked breakfast was lovely. I prefer to have breakfast earlier than 8am but that's only a personal preference. A little bit of road noise on occasion but not all night. All in all I would stay here again."

"We have just stayed at this hotel and we are definitely coming back next year, we had such a warm welcome and a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic and there's plenty of free parking and the food was absolutely delicious. Our two dogs were shown so much love and affection and we can't say enough nice things about all the staff. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, the weather wasn't the best but the hotel definitely made up for it and we will be back next year hopefully with warmer weather. ☺️❤️"
