The Purdy Inn is part of the service station on the A1 and although it was on the main road we hardly heard the traffic when in our room. Slept well the beds were good for us . The breakfasts were lovely..and the cafe attached to the Purdy Inn offered a good range of refreshments 24hrs . The staff were really lovely and welcoming both in the Inn and the service station cafe..there was a nice mixture of ages ...We genuinely can't say anything negative about the staff . We had a lovely young man in the cafe of the service station help us with a dog walking area. Then we had a lovely young lady who served us breakfast 17+ 18th of August . Lovely lady at reception sorted us out with a shower mat. Lovely dog friendly and welcoming Inn. Thank you to all and well done"
