"The morning restaurant manager (black suit) is totally top notch. He was super accommodating to us. The afternoon/evening barkeep chased us out, rather abruptly, of the common sitting area because we’d brought dessert back to eat in the hotel after a long day out. While it’s fine to want a place food-free (there was no indication of such), I think it not fine that we were chased away like vagrants in a train station."

"This was easily one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Period. We greatly appreciated and used most, if not all, of their provided toiletries, drinks, and snacks for us. The size was perfectly small, and worked fantastically for my husband and I. The location was also a huge bonus. We were on foot our entire visit. It is very central to everything we wanted to see in Madrid. We will definitely return to this hotel whenever we travel back to Madrid."
