We came to check in around 1 hoping to get in early. I was greeted at the door by an employee who informed me, while lighting a cigarette, that they were overbooked, understaffed and their housekeeper just quit and early check in would not be possible. We came back a few hours later. It took a long time to check in. The front desk staff wasn't exactly professional. They were having trouble with their computer. The elevator wasn't working properly but we got a room on the first floor so that was fine. Got into our room and were pleasantly surprised with the size and amenities. Nice sized fridge/freezer. You could see the signs of wear on the property but we fit nicely. Bed was a little on the small size for comfort for two adults. We noticed they had filled the bathroom with washcloths but not any bath towels and had to send our daughter down to get some. In the night two other rooms walked out, don't know why. Breakfast was fairly standard but had a good variety. Located right off the interstate. Close to many of the attractions we came to see. For the price I paid I was fairly happy. We had very little interaction with the staff after check in. I wouldn't probably book it again. They really should concentrate on their guest experience and how that relates to their staff behavior and manner.

Upon our arrival, albeit after hours, I was greeted by a shabbily dressed young man, who reeked of cigarettes. After check-in, I gathered my family and we made our way to our "non-smoking" room. The door hinge was warped and had to be forced open and then slammed closed. The smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering, and there were several burns on the bathroom counter. I immediately noticed a very stained or dirty towel hanging up in the bathroom. We booked our room for 6 people, and were given a max-4 person room that was only set up to accommodate 2 people. There were no extra pillows or blankets available for the hide-a-bed, which made it a very uncomfortable night. The full bed had a ripped blanket on it, and the ice bucket, on the counter, had trash in it from a previous guest. Although this stay was a one night travel layover, I would not recommend it to anyone for any length of time.
