The hotel is in the best area on the Otaru canal, it is a bit older but still very nice and clean. Bed was comfy. Very nice for a couple of nights. It also has an onsen which is rare in the area.

After you have spent some time in Shakotan Peninsula, be sure to visit more of Hokkaido. Discover Hokkaido's traditional villages and old towns and admire its coastal plains, forests and rivers. Tireless travelers might enjoy snowboarding and skiing in the region.
