"The room did not have a clean welcoming vibe. The room needs a complete renovation.its old snd lacked amenities that are normal in a room. No shampoo, no body wash, no iron or ironing board. The tv did not work , noisy ice machine, top floor I was I. Bottom Room 101, could hear every step taken in room. Telephone not working. The sink had. An old fashioned rubber stopper , you could see all the way down the sinkhole drain. The electric plug was broken in half… one queen size bed was broken, it felt like a 250 lb person had dented tge mattress forever, could not spring back up. Te drapes wee disheveled and to top it all off the KEY was a real key to the room. I woke up with a back ache sns slept miserably. The only positive is thst you could walk to little places to getaway ftom the ugliness of the room. It was a total disaster. I would notice this hotel,"

"Definitely was a very charming place to stay. We did request an early check-in earlier in the week and they couldn’t accommodate which was unfortunate but I do get things happen. I thought it was a little more on the expensive side of things, but did enjoy my view of the ocean was partial view I should say."

"Overall it was a nice place to stay. We’d stay again. Just a few small problems. Check in was a little off. We never received the text with the door code or information about our stay. Luckily the front desk person was still there when we checked in. She insisted we were checked in already and have the code to our room. When I told her that we never got the text she said to check again. Never received anything. It took a bit to figure out how to get the electric fireplace (heat) to work. It was really cold to start. Maybe there was instructions in the info we should have received in the text? Room was very clean. Bed was comfy. Nice bathtub. "

"Our stay was enchanting. We were generously upgraded to a River View room. Though small, the room was very clean, comfortable, relaxing and attractive. The views of the river, the beach and forested hills were breathtaking. Breakfast in the morning was upgraded continental and enjoyable. Staff was exceptional. The two nights at this beautiful lodge was pure joy!"
