I liked the property. It was clean and well stocked. Parking is a little tricky and the need to advertise that you must be able to climb stairs. Also the availability of the staff is inconvenient. Hot water heater wasn’t working well, It took a long time to get any warm water and hot was not there. The remote to the tv didn’t work. There needs to be instructions how to use all the apps. Not enough outlets by the beds for those who have a necessary medical devise.

The property has been updated, staff and service is excellent, the rooms are clean with a large flat screen TV, refrigerator, Keurig, microwave and many opportunities to plug in devices/charge. I loved the hot tub/jacuzzi. Plus we have a bay view and an outside sitting area. It’s also pet friendly!

Hotel charged my card days before I arrived. Expedia indicated it was “pay at the property “. Room did not have room darkening window coverings. Only a see thru drape. Side chair was very uncomfortable. Screen door had broken rollers. Shower head hard to turn on without standing in shower. Very sharp corners on bathroom vanity. No telephone in room or at managers office in case of emergency. I had to leave a day early because my wife became ill and when I called booking number I was told that no refund would be allowed for third night. No one from hotel ever responded to my concerns.

Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Room was clean and nicely appointed. No air conditioning or ceiling fan, so the room was a bit warm and stuffy in the afternoon due to direct sun. It did cool off quickly once the sun went behind the trees. Staff was nice and seemed to really care whether we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

Overall it was good. Overly smelled like cleaning products but spacious and remodeled but older building. It had good space for our family though and we’d stay again.

This property is a gem with balconies for each room overlooking the bay with beautiful views. It’s completely renovated except the windows and sliders. We had a bottom floor with only a sliding door but no screen so we could not sleep with the slider open missing out on the breeze and sounds of the ocean. This might not be an issue in winter, but it would’ve been a nice option on the summer days we stayed. We loved the new style and decor. Having a fridge and microwave was very convenient. We will stay again for sure but hoping for a room with a screen on the window.

The hotel was ok. There are no people there working at night so the check in was a little tricky, but they were responsive at the number provided. Def some work going on to update the hotel. It is in a nice area with a good view of the bay.

Different way of checking in for a hotel. It's all via text and mobile. You receive constant IMs from the host -- many helpful, but some not so much. (e.g., their online system for providing a credit card for incidentals never worked after three texts about it.) The host is very responsive to IMs. Check-in was very pleasant and efficient. It's all keyless entry. The rooms appeared to be recently renovated, probably in line with the name change (from Bodega Coast Inn and Suites.) The shower stalls are odd, as there is only a half glass door on the furthest portion, so water pools on the handle side on the floor! It takes one bath towel to soak it all up! But, at least you know the floors are clean. No bar/hand soap, so bring your own or use the body wash supplied. Also, since we're on the coast, there is no A/C. However, there should be a screen door on the slider to get fresh air in and to keep critters out, no? Odd. Parking is adequate for the size of the property.

Clean room, recently updated ( new bathroom fixtures, new paint etc.). Nice balcony with view of the bay, very interesting watching the tide changes. The property grounds still need some work, I am sure next year will be improved. Front desk maintained communication the whole time, checking on us. Overall a very good stay, I recommend.
