Employees smoking whenever and non smokers get the blame and they want to charge you for a cleaning of 250 dollars if they say so.... I checked out and told them I'm not the one I wish you would try and charge me anything because you smell a cigarette I don't even smoke

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was dated, and while advertised as a suite with a bathtub, the jacuzzi tub was awkwardly in the middle of the sitting area and was out of order. The bathroom had dirty towels (not used, more like washed but then carelessly stored or handled, so they had black marks on them). It was definitely a lower quality room. It shouldn’t have been rented with broken amenities.

Baymont Dunmore PA

Shenique greeted us on check in and periodically during our stay. She is a gem and made us feel welcome. Property is older. We were in room 420 and must have been as far away from water heater as possible. Water eventually got hot after many minutes. Tub has been capped and has no flat surface to stand on. Hand rail was necessary to move around shower. Had to move dresser to plug in mini fridge. Were there four nights, room was serviced once. Plus for this property it is very convenient to freeway, grocery shopping is a walk across the parking lot and fantastic eating at Loading Dock. We make this trip every year, will consider again for next year.

In my opinion the property is nice, the staff were courteous when I checked in. Food options locally were great. Did laundry on site and machines are dated and could use a thorough cleaning but not to bad. People were in lobby participating in some sort of community gathering, seems like a nice place involved with the local community.

The light over the sink did not work and looked as if the broken switch had been that way for a while. As senior citizens, though not handicapped, the mattress was far too high to climb into. Water pressure in shower very low; the tub is slippery during shower.

Well the water damage in the room was pretty staggering. Enough so that maintenance showed up uncalled to check it. (The room should not have been rented) Uncovered light socket touching the bed skirt. Staff isn't bad but they definitely don't make anyone feel welcome. Overall I doubt I'd ever stay with the brand again. Will be sending my videos off to the BBB. Hopefully corporate will do inspections on these franchised properties more often.
