I travel a lot and have been in all kinds of rooms including low star rated while I was on a tight budget and I've never been disgusted like I was with this stay. I've never had to ask to switch rooms. I got a handicap room with the roll in shower and it was completely uninhabitable even for a night. I walked in and all the drawers were open and there were spiders in their building a web, a bunch of weed crumbs, and God only knows what else. The sheets and everything were outdated and nothing like the picture. There was a film of scum and dust over the entirety of the room on the furniture, and the shower hasn't been cleaned properly or at all in at least a year. It definitely wasn't big enough at all for someone to roll their wheelchair in. It was rusted, molded, mildewed, and overall completely neglected. The entire room was neglected but the housekeeper came in and left the sheet with her initials and date that it was cleaned two days prior to my stay. Impossible.. I immediately went back up to the front desk and kindly ask them to put me in another handicap room because the one they originally put me in wasn't clean. He didn't push the issue and went ahead and changed my room over, but there was no concern or care at all about the condition of that room. My new room wasn't any better besides the shower was in a little better condition than the prior room. It's a good thing that I always bring my own sheets and blankets and my TV when I travel.
