I realize this is a pet friendly hotel, but don't stay here if you want a good nights rest. We were on the first floor and there must've been a dog fighting party happening in the floor above us. It sounded like pit-bulls were being spontaneously let out of cages every thirty minutes. We called to complain three times, and not much was done. We have two small kids, so the noise was a total disaster, but we eventually just took it on the chin and tried to get some rest, since we were only staying one night. Apparently this hotel is more concerned about the feelings of sensitive pet owners than about their other guests. We wouldn't stay here again.

Location was nice but a bit away from the fun area of SB. And I use the term "fun" loosely. Room could use an extra chair. And the decor could be improved. Blank walls...

The cafe/bar was only open for short periods, The food, drinks were terrible and the service disagreeable. They acted annoyed that they had to be bothered with us. Worst mojitos ever. Wouldn't muddle the mint, just stuck some old mint stems in it. Room: uncomfortable bedding, they don't use duvets, just sheets over & under a comforter, which become messed up when you sleep. The toiletries were something called "bamboo cream" (!?!?) which smelled like a musty room. We couldn't latch or lock the sliding glass door, there was no device to do so. The slider frame had a large rusty screw sticking out of it and I snagged my new anthropologie top on it (Thanks Hyatt). The art in the bed & bath was so terrible we actually laughed when we saw it. We wondered if a Hyatt vp paid his kids to provide the art for the place. Ghastly decor and uncomfortable furniture. The housekeeping staff, front desk and parking staff were all polite and helpful.
